ABOUT JOURNAL
SANAMED journal is international, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary open-access medical journal, founded in 2006 and is published by the Association of medical doctors Sanamed, a nonprofit organization of physicians and scientists. The journal publishes: original articles, case reports, literature reviews, Systematic review, articles on history of medicine, articles for practitioners, book reviews, comments and letters to editor, and other medical information dedicated to the advancement of medical research, practice, and education, in the field of medicine and related fields.
The journal is published both in electronic and print format, three times a year. Immediately after publication, all papers are available online for free, on the journal’s website and other databases.

From February 2022, Sanamed journal started using electronic journal management editing via
the ASSISTANT system. All users of the system: authors, reviewers and editors must be

AIMS AND SCOPE
SANAMED journal is international, peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary open-access medical journal, founded in 2006 and is published by the Association of medical doctors Sanamed, a nonprofit organization.
The journal is based on independent and impartial double-blind review principles. The main aim of the journal is to publish high quality: original articles, case reports, literature reviews, Systematic review, articles on history of medicine, articles for practitioners, book reviews, comments and letters to editor, and other medical information dedicated to the advancement of medical research, practice, and education, from different medical disciplines and related fields.
Only unpublished papers that are not peer-reviewed for publication elsewhere may be submitted. Sanamed journal does not accept multiple applications. All manuscripts under consideration in the Sanamed medical journal may not be offered or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
ARTICLE –PROCESSING CHARGES
Sanamed is open access journal and require Article Processing Charges (APCs) to be paid following acceptance. All authors of papers, have obligation, before they receive confirmation that the paper will be published in Sanamed, to pay part of expenses of printing, which is 2500 RSD for author, 1500 RSD for co-authors, for each paper. APC for authors from abroad printing fees are 40 Euro and 20 Euro for co-authors each. Additionally will be charged each page with pictures in color, costing 30 Euro; black and white pictures will not be charged.

Article-processing fee waivers and discounts
To help support researchers who are unable to meet some or all of the costs associated with publishing in Sanamed, or have some other reasons, Sanamed journal allows waivers or discounts.
Authors with insufficient funds from any country may apply for an APC discount or waiver at the point of submission in a Cover letter, explaining their reasons for this request. Decisions are made on a case-by-case basis.
Reviewers are granted cumulative discounts.
